‘GOLMAAL AGAIN’….Rocks Again!!!

4 weeks ago     Leave your thoughts

'GoLMAAL AGAIN'....totally ROCKS Again.!!! When comedy is mixed with mild horror and served with some sizzling suspense on a plate made of thriller, a movie like ‘Golmaal Again’ is born. ‘Rohit Shetty’ might be one of those extremely brave and talented movie makers who not only is gutsy enough to combine all these genres but also to make a successful feature film out of it. Regardless of the multitude of genres, Golmaal Again has been presented just like a perfect gourmet dish wherein multiple flavours come together and enrich the experience as a whole. In the fourth instalment, the writing…

Movie Review– Jab Harry Met Sejal: Starring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma. Directed by: Imtiaz Ali. I’ll be honest, Jab Harry Met Sejal is definitely not one of Imtiaz Ali’s greatest films but I would certainly not agree with all the reviews of the film critics going viral on the internet. If at all, in my take I would rather contradict than align with the views of the veteran film critics. For starters, if King Khan and Imtiaz Ali are going to come together not only as actor and director but as writer/director and producer, then it is insane to even…

Instead of a single protagonist and a single antagonist, MOM has three protagonists played by Akshaye Khanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sridevi. This trio of the actors who share a common passion for their craft has literally woven real magic into the fabric of the film. Although the basic theme of the film is not exactly unique or unheard of, the story is written with such a fresh approach that the…

Reviewed: RANGOON (starring Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor & Saif Ali Khan)

8 months ago     Leave your thoughts

Directed and partly written by Vishal Bharadwaj, Raangoon is a welcome experiment this year, especially after all the clichéd ridicule that hit the big screens in 2016. The makers have successfully created an awe-inspiring depiction of British India during the Second World War. However, the movie manages to portray this over-chewed chewing-gum of a concept in an entirely new perspective. It is a nice blend of realism and make-belief with a dash of Bollywood masala. But then towards the end, the masala and the make-belief gets so overdone that all the magical impact of the previous realism is utterly ruined.…

Why should you watch KAABIL: Read on..!

9 months ago     Leave your thoughts

KAABIL.... Just when the Indian government has started taking steps to help the differently-abled attain a certain level of independence, the movie Kaabil is released with a whole new perspective; thus, proving that Bollywood is and has always been socially conscious. In order to make the audience relate personally to the lives of the characters, the movie maintains a steady pace till interval and focusses more on plot development instead of directly jumping to the masala. This is especially notable as none from the audience would have ever personally related to the lives of the differently-abled. Although it is a…
